Stitch Details

Satin Stitch for solid shapes.

I suggest starting from the center of the shape and filling in each side. But I do like the look of satin stitch on the diagonal so you will see in my process photos that transitioned into stitching the moon satin stitch section after backstitching the line section. But if that sounds wacky to you go ahead and start the moon in the middle of the C shape and fill in one side at a time.

Back Stitch for outlines.

For the tops of the acorns stitch all your lines in one direction and then stitch the lines across over top of the previous lines.

Cross Stitch for the stars. The eyelashes and the lines in the moth antennae are just one stitch each.
