How to start your skein
Find the tail on the side with the long label. Grasp the skein with one hand and pull the tail out gently.
Floss cards

Gently loosen the knot.

You can use your needle to separate one strand.

Firmly grasp the remaining strands with one hand and pull your individual strand out with the opposite hand.

Be sure to smooth out the strands as you work so they don't become tangled.
